What a change in the weather today. Two days ago it was almost 90 and today we wake up to 46 degrees.
We walked in clear weather until about noon when it started lightly raining. It is raining hard now as we sit in our room in Rabanal del Camino. Tomorrow morning should start with 40 degrees as we reach the high point of the Camino, and warm up as we start down the mountain. Bad luck for us that we are in the high mountains during to coldest days.
Rabanal del Camino is a town of only 100 people with a Bavarian Benedictine Monastery in the center of town. Weather permitting, we'll go out to hear the monks sing the Vespers tonight.

Stop for the night. A kilometer from the village, but a wonderful room. Small problem...no heat. We got extra blankets and will make due.

Tomorrow we cross over the high point at ~5000 feet and then a 3000 foot drop to Molinaseca.
